Dr Elisabeth Sticker is a private lecturer and chartered psychologist at the University of Cologne, Germany. Her main areas of expertise are developmental and educational psychology, and her work includes assisting with the integration of children with congenital heart diseases into schools. She has been involved with the German Association of Children with Heart Disease since 1995 and is head of the task force for sport and also school and vocational orientation. Dr Sticker’s son, who is now an adult, has a congenital heart disease.
